The hull moves towards completion with the addition of block 109
Posted: October 8, 2012 Filed under: Home, Investigator, The Future Research Vessel Project 2 Comments »The latest photos from the shipyard show the work happening in the shed on a number of blocks, a block heading into the paint shed and the superstructure blocks looking more and more like they’re nearing completion!
At the Investigator Erection Area we can also see block 109 being lifted into place to form part of the stern. The hull is looking fabulous!
Hello Vanessa. There are 33 blocks in total including the gondola, which is block 001.
It’s cool to see it all coming together. How many block are there in total?
